My wife brought me an "official" Dalai Lama tee shirt when she returned this week from his two weeks of teachings in Austria. Apparently there is a problem with counterfeit Dalai Lama products, because this shirt, made in India, came with a large notice proclaiming, DON'T BEFOOL YOURSELF WITH FAKE THINGS. Indeed.

LOL, so poetic, I love it.

I think it would make a great slogan for this board.

And you have some reason to believe the tee shirt is genuine?? At least it is a genuine tee shirt.

John: Well, it is made by BalaGeetha Garments, of Tirupur. I did a search here, and no one has "outed" them yet.

Neither John nor his spouse has yet noticed, on the lip of the collar, at the back of the shirt, a label that states:"Official Dalai Lama product made under license in China"

    Even the Dalai

Can you believe it? Even the Dalai must deal with the less-than-wonderful.

John: Yep. Counterfeit garments and the entire nation of China and its leaders.

Do you remember India has given shelter to Tibetians including Dalai Lama ? So the products made in INDIA are rightly legal ones as the majority of them are made by tibetian refugees.
