Checking a.e.d. today (I don't know what I was thinking), I notice that the spammer goofball is back with a vengence. When will they learn that they defeat their own purpose by flooding a newsgroup with redundant crap?

I suspect that they don't care since they're probably just being paid by some degree mill owner to do what they're doing.

 

Both "Tom Millen" and "Kate Thoradson" posted from the IP address 66.217.56.183 (popsite.net in Palatine, IL) within minutes of each other; the FTU thread is posted by both, by "Kate" at 16:37 and by "Tom" at 23:46 (from IP 207.6.106.114, this time a telus.com dialup in Vancouver, BC). Hmmm.

Do you mean to suggest that some degree mill owners would actually do the unethical to promote their cause?

 

They also misspell similar words. I can only assume it's a local dialect.

Now that you put it that way, it sounds too outlandish and ridiculous doesn't it? Thanks for pulling me out of my fit of paranoia, Russell.

 

It's also an amazing coincidence that they managed to post from the same IP address. If I was still in my fit of paranoia I might come to other conclusions but happily I've been cured.
