    Torture medicine? Is that similar to electro homoeopathy?
     
  2. Medical jargon is full of the most infelicitous phrases. I believe that in this case they mean to refer to medical care for victims of torture -- though I've experienced the ministrations of a few doctors who would seem to be naturals for torture medicine.
