With a new Federal Minister for Education a lot of ideas and responses are being aired regarding all levels of higher education. This one of them.

Let me assure you, that they are referring to AUSTRALIAN students only [sorry] ... on the other hand the more foreign students the better and the more we can get away with charging them the better - for our students. :)

    DL DBA from USQ

It is learned that USQ will not accept overseas students for its DL DBA program for one year until mid-1993. Is there anything to do with government funding allocation?

Due to a processing backlog, the International Date Line has been declared the International Decade Line. Visitors to Australia are requested not to bring calendars or day-planners with them. Long lines are to be expected as Customs officers black out the year on otherwise admissible newspapers and periodicals.

1993? Shouldn't pose any problems should it, except for those who are under 9 years of age?

Y'know, that whole "Y2K" thing really didn't cause much trouble north of the equator....

    Y2K?

K2K - now THAT is what you call unaccredited ... bullshit of the highest order, and old men came out of nursing homes to again become multi-millionaires.

Glad to have you aboard - another fallible person :)

Some here though are infallible [God told then on their local private telephone line], but Rich and I are fallable and affable - a good mixture.

Nothing wrong with USQ - in fact I am off to meet with a DE part of them/NZOP now being a senior tutor/coursewriter for Stotts [1874 commenced DE - yes the date is correct and I have some of their first lessons!] - which is now a part of Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.

So I am employable ;) today anyway....
