Thanks for the link, Anyone claiming a degree from a place like Glencullen is a dishonest fraud, at least in my opinion.
Candidate claims a questionable degree. Snippet: Congressional hopeful David LaPere claims to have a bachelor's degree from a university that apparently doesn't exist. ... On campaign materials and political Web sites where LaPere lists his qualifications, his résumé includes a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Wexford. He said he obtained it in 1995. LaPere played down the significance of the degree Thursday in an interview with the Times-Delta, saying it amounted to a "lifetime-achievement award." "It's primarily based on my life experience and my work in Democratic politics," which he said goes back 22 years. ... LaPere was featured last Saturday in a Los Angeles Times story on people who buy degrees from phony universities. Swiss officials told the Times they had no record of the University of Wexford until they began getting inquiries about the school's legitimacy in 2001. That's the same year, according to Internet records, that Wexford established its Web site.
