Some have commented in the past (see http://www.degreeinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=1221) on Gloria Schermesser, member of the Michigan State House who claims a bachelor's degree from Columbia State University. It appears that some member of the press in Michigan has confronted her on this; at least, one online diary from early August 2002 (http://lintra.blogspot.com/2002_08_04_lintra_archive.html) references her being under pressure to resign because of her degree. I have been unable to find any news articles (searched Google, Detroit News, and Detroit Free Press) on her being pressured to resign. Does anyone have any links to any such articles?
I spoke several times to a TV reporter in Detroit last month, who was planning to confront this legislator. Sorry I don't have a name or affiliation easily findable. But the only public story may have been a short TV one.
