    From the article: "...he (Voevodsky) was missing the gene that detects status and makes people respect it over merit.”
    If more people were missing that gene, the world would be a far better place. People are constantly told "think outside the box." Voevodsky appears to have been blissfully unaware of any boxes - which, in fact, do not exist.

    I wouldn't want to be famous for being famous though the money often going with that could be nice. To be recognized for having accomplished something would be gratifying.

    "Famous for being famous" Right, that's exactly what Voevodsky's radar wouldn't pick up.
    "To be recognized for having accomplished something." Yes. I agree, that would be very nice. But first, I'll have to accomplish something... :smile:
