I went to the ER, and they diagnosed me with the above diagnosis. Can you die from that from that. It sounds serious. I have an email to my regular doctor.

Abner, you've been going through a lot lately and I'm very sorry to hear that. I'm wishing you the best, and hope things start looking up. You're a tough guy- a WARRIOR! I know you, if anyone, can overcome.

To answer your question, yes, it is serious and you can die from it. The fact that the medical staff at the hospital didn't explain that to you looks very poor on them- I'm confused as to why they didn't give you more information. Now, please don't misunderstand- what you're going through is not a death sentence, you can be treated and cured. It's an infection. You should have been given antibiotics at the ER and they should have instructed you to keep yourself hydrated, rested and maybe given you dietary recommendations.

I don't know what kind of medical practitioners you have been visiting, but from what I've read in your recent threads, it sounds like they're not doing their job right.

Wow Abner, you are indeed going through some tome medical times right now for you and your wife.

I wish you both a speedy recovery, be proactive and take care!

    just be safe

I am having my doctor do an ultrasound of my kidneys after I am done taking the antiobiotics. I am also having her order me another urine sample to be safe. Don't be afraid to do your research and tell the docs what you need. She always gives me what I ask her for. I'm not taking any chances with this stuff! If you don't ask, you shall not receive! Thank God for my regular doc. The ER docs should have explained stuff to me better, instead they just let me go! Then, I called the advice nurse who told me I should back to the ER, which I did. Thank god for medical insurance!

A close family member of mine died from sepsis last November. A few months later, breaking news declared that there was a cure for sepsis (Vitamin C, Thiamine, and hydrocortisone), and that people who were diagnosed with it were coming up cured after being treated with that combination.

Thanks MC. I have been spooked ever since. I go in for an ultrasound of my kidneys in a couple of weeks. To think that I could have died! I didn't even go in (to ER) for the sepsis, I went in for an anxiety attack and they just so happened to catch it!
