Wolves were removed from the endangered species list a while ago. That's too bad these wolves were killed, I think the safe zone should be bigger around the park, but then people would complain about "government control" of "public lands" or something. I doubt it was done on purpose but still crappy none the less.

The wolves are one of the bigger success stories of the endangered species act. So much so that they are allowed to be hunted where they have large numbers. Unfortunately it's impossible to control exactly where the "monitored" ones will go.

On another note. I am still pissed that a little pussy dentist lured Cecil the lion (a much beloved lion, black mane) outside of his reserve and purposely killed him. This guy paid $54,00.00 to kill a relatively tame animal, all so he could act like a brave safari hunter. That is just cowardly. I think the ass wipe had to pay 50 K plus in fines, and the good thing is a few laws were changed in regards to big game hunting.

I am not opposed to hunting, nor am I opposed to guns. But I oppose "canned" hunting. In many cases, they are taking animals that have been raised in captivity and are used to humans, then kill it in a confined space. That is just cowardly! Hunters should kill a beast in a far fight, and use every part of the animal for food. These canned hunters kill a beautiful majestic beasts and then allow the carcass to go to waste.

Who helped him? As in, who'd he pay to "hunt" the lion. Why do "they" allow foreigners to come in and kill their national treasures? I agree that it was a bad shoot/hunt all around. Was he in the country illegally? Where'd he stay? Why do they allowing any lion hunting over there in the first place?
