Last week I needed over 40 STEM workers. This week, that number is going up to nearly 50.

As for highest unemployment? I could hire four with "Composition and Rhetoric" experience.

I cannot hire qualified and willing people fast enough.

Does that mean you are having trouble finding people from either category?

    Qualified, yes.

Most in STEM or Liberal Arts cannot take the job because they are not qualified to take on even fundamental tasks, despite "highly qualifying" degrees.

College is the new Middle School.

For STEM education, they might want to include more practical exercises. I think Boeing would not want to hear from a prospective engineer, "What's a wrench?"

Did history majors make the list?

    Yeah, you're screwed.

Okay, history is not on that list.

I'm not surprised by biology being on the list. People give psychology majors a hard time, but I've been following psychology and biology job openings for a while. On a weekly basis, I probably get notifications for 10 times more job openings asking for a psychology degree. Granted, there are more people with psychology degrees to compete with, but biology isn't exactly an unpopular major.
