Its official! The Institute for Transpersonal Philosophy is now offering credit for past life experience. Up to 90 hours of credit may be given toward the 120 hour BA in Reincarnation Studies. All credit hours awarded must meet the following criteria:

    1. The experience must be documented via regression therapy.
    2. Only15 hours per life will be awarded.
    3. The experience must be accredited.

Not a bad scenario, really. ;)

Good Morning, I read the posting and wondered. Although this degree sound a little different would it be the least stressful second BA to achieve. I have e-mailed the school and await an answer. My daughter may attempt a second BA to get a teaching certificate and shockingly her GPA is not high enough. Have a great day. Hille

    Best wishes in your pursuit.

Gotta go, I'm in the process of regressing to the year 764 BCE, trying to document six hours of past life credit. ;)

I think I'll try for an MS in Animal Science based on the experiences of my 3rd past regression wherein my prosopon was that of a English Mastiff.

We have already regressed my Harl Great Dane and have discovered that, --his karma being bad, --he formally was long time Dean at Liverpool University. ( Perhaps that accounts for the unfortunate UP and TTS relationship--schools have karma too, don't you think?)Consequently we are in the process of soliciting an honorary doctorate for Tonka and are hoping that he can in this life also achieve a tenured professorship. We are convinced that even with his unfortunate backsliding he really is much more capable than his current lower form would indicate.

He has been much assistance, in fact, to me in my thesis writing!

My regressions therapist is prepared to document (as soon as the check clears) that in past lives I've earned six PhD's (various disciplines, various time periods) I believe that in my case each of these should be worth more that 15 credits. Would you please list the name and contact information for the appeals process? ;)

It was revealed to me by a guru that I was a cardinal (one of the princes of the catholic church) in my past life. I guess that will qualify me for a Doctor of Sacred Theology degree.:D

Yes it will be if only and only if you prove that you were a guru in your past life.:D

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

My conscience is sort of working on me here that as reincarnation is a tenet of some religions that this banter could prove offensive. If so, then I apologize.

Actually,I enjoy religious bantering with Russell, himself, as he has fallen prey to the Arminian heresy!

What if in one's so-called "past-life" he or she was just the average joe or jane with not much to account for? No credit? Partial credit?

    Funny one Russell!

I realize that most people were famous people in their past lives. Must be a million former Caesars or Napoleans.

In my past lives there are mostly pig farmers, archery targets and human sacrificants.

Certainly these provide valued life (or death) experience to the education process. Now where do I sign up for my credits.

There used to be a "Karma University" in one of the early Bear's guides that offered the same thing. By the way, if I turn in a paper I wrote in a past life for credit - is it plagiarism?
