Sorry folks, amped up on too much caffeine, distant memories keep flooding back to me. I have a friend who is a union pipefittter. He is known as the Brown Bomber in the Guiness Book of world records and holds the world's record for 360's. I just found out that Joe Lewis went by the Brown Bomber as well. I guess it explains the fact that my friend Richie Carrasco's alias, since hi is a boxing fan as well. I just thought he named himself the "Brown Bomber" because he has dark skin! Ay Abner!

The trades are often talked about often nowadays. Let's just say that over 20 years ago, he was making $36.00 an hour! Plus, he will get full medical benefits and a pension when he retires. He is going to be set. Plus, he has his own skateboarding business, and travels all over the world on tours. He and his brothers had a skate boarding act with Disney many years ago, the act was known as the "Flying Carrasco Borthers". He came from a family of sixteen! Good for him.

    Abner,

We here in the 'D' . . .. Detroit; adopted Joe Louis some years ago. In fact the Detroit Red Wings played in Joe Louis Arena (1979-2017) until this past season. He will always be the original and #1 Brown Bomber. Interestingly; Joe Louis was his first and middle name, last name was Barrow.

Your friend can be the 2nd Brown Bomber. :)

Our financial advisor asked me what my investment philosophy was. I said that I followed the Joe Louis approach. When a reporter once asked him, "Hey, Champ, you're earning millions of dollars. What do you do with all that money," the Brown Bomber replied, "I dunno. They give me $50 a day walking around money, and that's good enough for me.
