I think the pretty harsh sentence that he's now serving had a lot to do with him essentially getting away with murder, so I don't see a favorable resolution for him at the parole board.
I won't make any prediction because you never know the minds of the people on the parole board. I just hope he stays in jail until he dies because I certainly believe there was plenty of evidence to convict him with murdering his ex wife and her friend. Back in the days of his trial, I realized I'd been watching it too much when one night I dreamed he was chasing me through my house with a knife...
Technically the parole board is not allowed to consider the murder trial but I don't know how that can work in reality. In any case, legal people close to the case say he'll likely get out. What you need to know about O.J. Simpson's upcoming parole hearing - CBS News
Yeah, I remember running home every day to find out what was going on in the trial. Luckily, I didn't have dreams of him chasing me with that big ol knife.
Personally, I suspect he did it, or had something to do with it. But once cops mishandle evidence, that's reasonable doubt, and I'm immediately and non-negotiably voting to acquit.

Much better deal here, Ted. Full-whack, extensive "Town and Country" article by Andrew Goldman on Bailey from the "good old days" right to the present. Great reading. F. Lee Bailey in 2017 - Lee Bailey on O.J. Simpson's Parole & Being Disbarred J.
He's in prison not far from where I live. Apparently he plans to leave Nevada and move to Florida. Good riddance.
Most people might guess that OJ, having just gotten away with murder, would take his NFL pension and retire to some quiet little place where he could avoid the spotlight, play some golf and try to measure how incredibly lucky he's been. I, on the other hand, believe that he will not be satisfied with that quiet existence. I predict that within the next two years you will be able to find OJ on television. Perhaps not his own show, but a regular on the small screen. His agent used to be Mike Gilbert but I believe he is retired at this point. I expect that OJ will get a few visits from prospective agents between now and October and the operative word will be "comeback."
