I'm not sure that you really need an excuse to fire an adjunct but her actions were poorly considered. People should know by now that if you put yourself out there on social media platforms people will find you and if they have any reason to do so they will bring your pages to the attention of your employer. There are probably thousands of people with PhDs in Anthropology who would love to take her job. There's more than a little Darwinism going on here.
