This is old (but interesting) information. The FDA "breakthrough" approval was granted nearly three years ago, September 2014. The cost of the medicine then was about $3,000 a month. Three years later, of the original test patients, 60% have died (Keytruda Raises Hope of Conquering Advanced Melanoma) . . . which means 40% are still alive, which is still encouraging.
