If all my (5,000 or so) books were taken away, and I was allowed to keep just one - it would have to be Wind in the Willows - Kenneth Grahame. I have not been without a copy since I learned to read, about 69 years ago. Comfort in bad times, pleasure in good times. Never fails. J.
Maybe I was talking about the menu at the local Hawaiian restaurant. It does have a lot of spam on it.
Perhaps someone, somewhere might be interested (or not) in the OP's forum-name "nikithadarshan." It's made up from Nikitha + Darshan and refers to two Indian film celebs. A coined word like "Brangelina" I guess, except these two were never married - they co-starred in three movies together. That's all they did, says Nikitha, and now, everyone believes her. It's all good... Story here: Sandalwood rises in support of Nikitha - Bollywoodlife.com Happy ending here: Nikitha breathes sigh of relief - Tollywood News & Gossips And BTW - Second to Wind in the Willows, I also want to keep my Peter Rabbit Compendium - same reasons, plus my grandkids liked it when they were small.
