More of a case of the ability to make so big money in hard times. 13 million in profit, that's a lot of money.

"Fewer than a quarter of its graduates who took the July 2016 bar exam passed the test. While passage rates have been trending downward across California, it was the worst performance among any American Bar Association-accredited school in the state."

Gee, do you think this could possibly be a factor in declining enrollment? I operate the worst-reviewed restaurant in California and attendance is down. I can't understand why.

It seems that the ABA had Whittier on probation but, for some unknowable reason, removed the probation. Low bar exam pass rates and very high student debt. According to the Wikipedia entry, anyway: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whittier_Law_School

This is good to see. Hopefully this slows down the rash of openings of less-than-stellar (but with the full sticker price!!!) "boutique law schools".

There are firms that can help, John. You won't even have to fire the chef! Simply pay a fee and they will create a barrage of great reviews of your eatery! It's done all the time!
Now, I wonder why the Law School didn't think of that? Oh well, likely something about keeping accreditation etc.
