I am trying to make an urgent call, but it's not working. I called to speak to a human telephone operator, but AT&T is closed!!!!!!! Damn it!

    Please see this email:

    Hola Abner

    Esperamos veros pronto

My moms phone is 9666XX034. But you have to dial the international prefix of Spain which is +34.

When you call Jose, the phone is 6271240XX, with the prefix of Spain, I guess you would dial 0034 or #34 or something similar. You can repeat the operation per the phone of my mom.

    Hope to see you soon

I tried using the 0034 prefix, but it's not working. She mentions something about a + sign, but i guess American phones don't have a plus sign. Any ideas? I can't see straight, this is very frustrating.

Any ideas would be appreciated. I don't know if this would help, but I am trying to Call Gorga, in Valencia.

    Try this compliments of Bing:

When you get hold of AT&T, make sure your phone is cleared for international dialing. (I had mine blocked in case it gets stolen.)

    Buena suerte, amigo.

Thanks Dr. Levicoff. I think those knuckleheads at AT&T did something to my phone, probably like a block (like you said). I recently switched from a 3 in 1 plan from Time Warner. I just can't believe you can't reach a live operator ON THE WEEKENDS! In the old days, you would just dial 0, and bam! A live operator would come on. I will call AT&T on Monday. I will have to send an email for now, but some things shouldn't be said by such an impersonal method of communication.

Oh, I went way of track. suffice it to say nothing I am trying is working, including your your bing reference. Thanks though, I really appreciate it. I was pretty worked up. Cooling down now.

Have a good weekend! I hope you have been seeing some good plays! I think it's cool that you drive around from State to State like you do.

A reminder that www.gethuman.com has lots of good tips on breaking through telephone shields and reaching a real human.

My favorite was the time I needed urgently to reach someone at Northwest Airlines. I called the number GetHuman gave me. Phone answered, "Konnichiwa." It was their help desk in Japan, and the man spoke perfect English and solved my problem.

Thanks! Do they charge for that? Even if they do, it is probably worth it. Hopefully tomorrow I can just call AT&T and get this mess straightened out. If it is too much of a hassle I will try www.gethuman.com There was a death in the family, and I was trying to avoid offering my condolonces via an email, that's just seems tacky.
