Thanks Dr. Levicoff. I think those knuckleheads at AT&T did something to my phone, probably like a block (like you said). I recently switched from a 3 in 1 plan from Time Warner. I just can't believe you can't reach a live operator ON THE WEEKENDS! In the old days, you would just dial 0, and bam! A live operator would come on. I will call AT&T on Monday. I will have to send an email for now, but some things shouldn't be said by such an impersonal method of communication. Oh, I went way of track. suffice it to say nothing I am trying is working, including your your bing reference. Thanks though, I really appreciate it. I was pretty worked up. Cooling down now. A reminder that www.gethuman.com has lots of good tips on breaking through telephone shields and reaching a real human. My favorite was the time I needed urgently to reach someone at Northwest Airlines. I called the number GetHuman gave me. Phone answered, "Konnichiwa." It was their help desk in Japan, and the man spoke perfect English and solved my problem.
