Hello, My daughter age 23 is on a job search. Today she was asked for samples of her writing. She submitted the narrative section of a portfolio. This was a regected portfolio from Jones International but well written. Don't trash anything you feel is good. Have a great evening. Hille
Sorry, I meant no disrespect to JIU as far as the quality of their educational program. I meant it as a joke, but looking at it again, I guess it didn't come across as I had intended. Wes
Remember that statement ... A weak defence, heard it before, but like a contract - better a weak one than none ... just hold on to it, as you may need it sooner than you think. Sam Xavier, is NOT a kid, and definitely NOT who you said he was - NO, he is not me but ... I'll leave the rest.
Re: Remember that statement ... Well Peter, if you know who "Sam Xavier" really is, and don't want to reveal it, you're condoning his actions by your inaction. That says a lot about you. Bruce
Cool it Bruce ... Your reaction is understandable Bruce, but cool it. I am not going to defend myself against your 'accusation' for a very necessary reason - think about it, and that reason should become obvious, and cool it. Thanks...
Re: Cool it Bruce ... And if I don't......what exactly will happen? Since you seem to have inside knowledge, please let me know. For the record, I've made nothing approaching an "accusation", I've simply stated my opinion. That's one of the great things about the United States of America (from which I post), we can say almost anything we want. The First Amendment and all that. Bruce
Re: Re: Cool it Bruce ... Ok Samuel Xavier - you can say almost anything you want - you've made your point
Good Morning, This posting has taken a side trip. My daughter has completed several courses through Jones International. I am extremely critical and have found it to be a fairly solid situation. My gripe -which was her gripe was the fee for a non- credit class to attempt portfolio credit. This may not have been necessary. Every institution has a little glitch. This school is extremely detail oriented as expected in a MBA program. Her latest course at Fort Hayes was extremely low key. I posted the information to give others an idea. I find sometimes I overthink and am blind to the obvious. Hille
