Yeah, I read about that in another case this morning. Some of these cases seem so flimsy. But the law is the law I guess.
This reminds me of prepaid legal services that were somewhat popular (or at least, ubiquitous in marketing) in the early 2000's. I remember thinking that it sounded like a good idea. Until I really thought about it. Then I realized it was dumb. In this case, we're talking about prepaid legal services but only for one specific kind of instance. A specific kind of instance which is incredibly rare overall, but especially rare for people who aren't looking to use stand-your-ground laws as an excuse to use lethal force in otherwise non-lethal situations.
Might be a good idea if you live in one of the major cities where the murder rate has been rapidly climbing since August 2014. It's all good in my hood though. I won't need it.
