    Hi,

I am writing a sitcom style play about teen pregnancy that should run around a half hour. Basically the storyline is teen girl gets pregnant, boy dumps her, mom and dad get involved with other parents, friends get involved, the two reconcile and start living in their own apartment to prepare to raise a famil.

Idea # 2 involved the legal system and a court case but I think it would be a stretch for the two parties to reconcile after such a battle. However, I think that would be the more compelling story if more far fetched, so I think I will go with that.

I am planning on getting this written in a couple weeks with it running in about 2-3 weeks after that. The idea being to make the dialog so simple that the lines will be easy to master.

I plan on writing 8 pages of it today with a total of 40 pages.

Part of my job is to come up with ideas and then to implement them. This is what I am going to keep busy with for the next couple of weeks.

    Any advice positive or negative?

Seems more a situation tragedy than a situation comedy.

Well the comedy is that a bunch of adults are going to play the roles of teenagers. I will post a link to it when I am done. If I get done. I will get it done!

9 pages already! 51 to go. I guess my company owns it since I am doing it on their time. I wonder what they are going to do with a sitcom script? Who am I kidding, its going to done as a play, a company article will be written about it, then put on a shelf so I probably can do anything I want with it when I leave.

additionally, It's actually kind of funny with the plot twists. It's coming out way better and faster than I ever expected. That's just my opinion as I won't have anybody to bounce off of til next week.

Ok, the first play is done. I am not going to post the review since the play was a flop. I made a mistake in writing a play that had 13 parts when only about 6 actors showed up. I am now writing another play about the relationships between 2 or 3 superheros who are trying to better themselves, or the world, in some way. This play will be written sometime around the Oct 31st. Conveniently about the time that superhero costumes go on sale Any ideas?
