Oh, THAT weird Niku. OK. I thought you meant this girl - Sena Kashiwazaki, a.k.a. Niku. She is weird - known (to Kodaka, at least) as "the weirdest member of the club." Another girl gave Sena the insulting nickname, Niku, (meat) which she secretly likes because it's the first nickname she's had. Sena (Niku) and the gang are schoolmates at St. Chronica's.

Niku may mean "meat" in Japanese, but the Trans-Neptunian Niku got its name from "a Chinese adjective meaning rebellious." So sayeth the great astronomical source the learned professors call Wikipedia.

Niku does (not may) mean meat in Japanese.

I know that, and in my previous post I said so. However, I still maintain I used "may" correctly. Grammar and English usage are things I do know. Here's an example of what I mean:

E.G. (Although) Novadar may be an expert in Nicaraguan Universities, Japanese and Big Data (meaning he is / despite the fact that he is), he likely knows less about plumbing, bricklaying and obstetrics.

ごめん なさい ヨハン. I did not read the entire message or thread, my bad. I usually don't venture below the Accreditation Thread so not my "comfort" zone. I just saw Niku and said, well yes that does mean meat.

わたし の つま は にほん じん です。 My wife is Japanese... we speak Japanese often at home for the children's benefit.

    For the other points:

Obstetrics no, but I have cut two umbilical cords at the direction of the Physician attending to my wife. The first time was a surreal experience.

Plumbing: Installed my own water softener running through the entire range of plumbing options: copper tubing, CPVC, and finally settling on PEX with Sharkbites.

Bricklaying: Laid a small line of limestone blocks to separate my front flower bed from the front yard as well as two rings around the baby Live Oaks. No bricks but experienced the joy of mortar and using a trowel.

Finally I want to tell you that I do appreciate what you bring to DI. You are dedicated way more than I am. <Tipping my Virtual Hat>
