Not sure why this is news: Boa constrictor bites 8-year-old boy in South Carolina - CBS News Boas have very small saw like teeth. Their teeth are meant for grasping, then constricting. The boy probably just startled him. Snakes can't see very well either, so they rely more on smell. Sudden movements sometimes scare snakes. No big.
Says they were from North Carolina, but they weren't FROM North Carolina. This is friggin snake land- snakes EVERYWHERE. No way a dad is letting his little boy pet some stranger's snake in a parking lot. Wow, typing that out gave it an even higher creep out factor. Ugh.
