What is it you do? Is it a product or service that you sell?
Do you have an Ebook or ecourse? Podcast or Video?
Who/What do you use for the site hosting and platform?

I am thinking of creating a business website with Wordpress and Aweber for email marketing.
Going to try and sell services and products I have access to...
and see if I can make some extra spending dollars and stretch it farther.

    AsianStew,

That's the hard way to sell stuff online. It isn't impossible, necessarily, but very, very, very difficult. If you build a website, you have to use SEO to rank it in the search engines (or pay per click advertising). And after Google's Penguin and Panda algorithm updates a few years ago, that's now harder than ever.

Instead of building a website, I recommend selling things through the Amazon FBA program. It's all about going where the customers already are.

Here are a couple of affordable Amazon FBA courses I can recommend:

Home - Proven Amazon Course | Introducing the Proven Amazon Course

The Selling Family | Learn How to Sell on Amazon

Both of these courses are high quality and they teach you everything about selling through Amazon FBA, including wholesale product sourcing and private labeling your own products.

Here's an interesting side note: If you watched the last Super Bowl, you might remember seeing a short commercial for Death Wish Coffee. The guy behind that product started off working from home selling coffee through the Amazon FBA program. He found a wholesale coffee supplier and put his own brand on the product (known as private labeling). The Proven Amazon Course teaches you how to private label your own products. He won the Super Bowl commercial in a contest.
