This morning as I was checking headlines, I found out that former women's wrestler Chyna had died of a suspected overdose. For those who are unfamiliar, Chyna is one of the most famous and revered female wrestlers of all time. She was a former WWF Women's Champion and, to date, she is the only woman to have ever held the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Unfortunately, after leaving the WWE (f.k.a. WWF), she seemed to increasingly lose her grip on reality as she struggled with substance abuse and made headlines with her increasingly bizarre behavior. She was never a favorite of mine, but she holds the distinction of being the only wrestler form whom I ever received an autograph. Chyna passes away On the way home from work, I turned my radio on to find the equally tragic news that Prince, the musical genius and pop culture icon, had also died. This one was much more of a shocker, since Prince seemed to really have himself together for the last two decades or so of his life and was still a healthy-looking active performer of his craft.
