I have to ask an idea from you. You know, I'm really confused with these two terms, a router and an access point. I remember about it because I'm having a very slow internet connection and I wanna know if both has something to do with it. Any differences whatsoever? Or do I need them to have a better internet experience?

The reason you are confused is that these are two very different things...that are often combined together into one device. An access point connects a wireless network to a wired network, making it one network. That's it. A router connects two networks together allowing computers on one or both networks to access computers on the other one. They are not made into one network. For home networking, a router connects your home network to the Internet, allowing computers in your home to access the Internet while preventing your computers from being accessed from outside. The combination of them (called a wireless router) connects computers on your wireless network both to computers on a local wired network (if you have any) AND to the Internet. Both of them can have an effect on your internet speed, but are usually not the problem. More likely culprits are PCs that are loaded with unneeded software, poor wireless signals (too much distance or too much interference), trying to access a slow website, or a crappy internet provider.

If you didn't know much of this already, you will likely need someone to help you to diagnose your problems.

Make sure your router has an access point then create a new route to this new access point, then your router can piggy back of of this newly created access point thus creating a new routing route. And if that does not work double on the access point to give your router two routes to chose from or two other acces points to chose from as well. That aught to the trick :eek:mfg: if all else fails try again :trink26: thank you!:veryhappy:
