DegreeInfo is now 15 years old, so it's time to change the red ribbon in the header to "15 year Anniversary 2001-2016."

    Happy Anniversary, DI...................

But the tenth anniversary ribbon has become tradition!

Are there any other "plank owners" still active here besides me and Rich Douglas?

With this, as with all DegreeInfo matters, members are welcome to contact Chip directly. He is the only person who can make such changes.:eek:h::yes(1):

Transferring from the old AED, I was here at DegreeInfo from Day 1, right in the middle of Rich Douglas, John Bear, Steve Levicoff, Tom Head, etc. Now that I've "put in my 15 years," I want either a banner that reads "15 Year Anniversary 2001-2016," or, I want a PhD from MIGS based on life experience.

I have no idea either, despite (apparently) owning one. Man, I hope it didn't die because I forgot to feed and/or water it.

A plank-owner is a term for members of the very first crew of a US Navy ship when it's initially commissioned.

"I'm a plank-owner of the George Washington, what a commissioning ceremony!"

Then I'm a genuine DI Plank Owner. It was under a different pen name, but I was here when the ole ship DegreeInfo was commissioned.
