    Distance Marksmanship

During my short and career in the Canadian Army reserves, I had some difficulty consistently hitting targets.

If I did it by distance ed, I wonder if I could get better scores? Would I get still better scores from an unaccredited school?

Actually, quite a few basic marksmanship skills could be taught by DL. Sight picture, breathing, stance, grip, and trigger squeeze could all be demonstrated with texts and video materials.

However, there is no substitution for live fire and supervised safety training, and I don't think any of us want someone who "learned" how to shoot totally non-residentially to be carrying a firearm around us. I know I sure wouldn't.
