Does anyone know of a good book or article on getting a university job after leaving industry? We have on this board a number of people who've earned--or want to earn--a doctorate mid-career. I wonder what might be out there for them if they want to pursue that route?

Geez, just looking at the titles, I would think so. I'll be going through them. Before I posted my request, I searched Google, Google Scholar, and Amazon. I didn't get these results, and I'm usually pretty good at finding what I want. So.....thanks again, and I bow to your superior search skills.
I just got lucky. BTW, I was entirely unable to locate any references to existing [books] re your area of interest. There were several books and more so journal articles though regarding the topic of career transitioning from academia to industry … just not the opposite.
Viewed from my very limited time in trying to locate available resources on this specific career transition interest—authoring such a book would be a worthwhile goal, plus deliver a needed resource Rich.
