It was definitely an earned degree, Ian. I've read that from more than one source. It would indeed seem, as you suggest, that this author is not clear on the meaning of "honorary." As we both know, one does not spend 3 years studying and taking classes (in person or otherwise) for an honorary degree. Yay Eva! :smile: J.
