The old unofficial forum (extensionstudent.com and philfac.com) for Harvard Extension School has been closed. To keep the discussions regarding Harvard Extension School alive, I have created a new unofficial forum. The site is:

    ExtensionJourney.com - Index page

This is not an advertisement for any commercial benefits. I am just spreading the word. The site carries no advertisements for either registered or guest users. Though, only users with the Harvard mail ID can only register.

    Thanks, :)

So you're not interested in talking to grads, only active students? I find that odd.

Some schools allow alumni to keep school email accounts, or give them alumni accounts. A friend of mine graduated from Northeastern University about 10 years ago, and he has a @alumni.neu.edu email address.

I didn't know that. And now that I think of it, it's probably a very effective way to eliminate spammers and trolls.

@Kizmet, this forum is just for the registered students to discuss about their courses and other things about Harvard Extension School. Also, Harvard does give alumni's a Harvard e-mail (only redirection), so, they too can participate. One other thing, is anyone who registers for a course in Harvard extension school gets an email ID, before they are officially admitted. So, this lets students who are not yet committed to a degree program to join the discussions.

This model greatly reduces spam too. :)
