Hello, When graduate credits are applied toward a 2nd BA what is their status in a existing graduate program? This would involve two different schools, both RA. Thanks. Hille

I think that in general they will be considered "used" and won't be applied toward the graduate degree once they've been applied to an undergraduate degree. It does seem to vary by school though. I'm just guessing, but I would think that graduate programs which allow you to apply credits from a previous graduate degree towards a new one would probably let you use them. I do know that some grad programs specifically allow you to apply some credits (I've seen 6 credits/2 courses) toward a bachelor's degree and then also use them toward a master's degree at that same school.

Your best bet is to check with each school regarding their policies, since there doesn't seem to be much consistency in how this is handled.
