Glad to have found this place! I've been interested in DL for years and now look back only to realize I could have obtained several degrees in the time I've wasted hemming and hawing away. Now I'm getting back in and looking forward to getting a new degree.

I hear that the famous British actor-director, and the famous British scientist have gotten together to start a school to be called [very small drum roll] . . . Hemmings and Hawking University.
Welcome aboard. I have been blessed in many ways by the posters here. They have helped me tremendously. That, by itself, is enough to make this place great. However, it is also fairly entertaining to read the various posts. BTW, what degree(s) do you plan to seek? clint
Thanks for the welcome! Y'all are so funny... cdhale... after years of looking but not doing I'm finishing up a second degree in nursing and starting to look for a school that offers a distance MSN and eventually move up to Nurse Practitioner. It's enough to be in school for a second Baccalaureate and now I'd like to continue working while getting a Master's on the side. I hope my plans come to fruition.
GooFee, Good on yer! It's never too late. A god friend of mine finished at 60. I 've has undergrads over that age in some of my stats classes. In honor of your decision, I will have a tall one this weekend! Good luck!
Welcome Well, welcome, GooFee. I found this site just recently myself. Amazing! And I'll tell you, there's stuff here (and at the other sites both mentioned by and linked off this site) you end up just greatfull for having found before getting your feet wet. I'm real close myself to closing in on the school I want to attend. This site's been enormously helpful. Hats off to Degreeinfo! Starkman
