Let's all go in on it together, and collectively we might be able to purchase a brick!

It would be a long commute for me. Maybe weekends?

Bigger house = more taxes, more utility costs, and requires works (hiring staffs?).

My house is only 3,701 sqft, but I think it is too big. As soon I my divorced is finalized I am going to look to reduced to less than 2,500 sqft I get custody of my two children. If I do not get their custody, I'll reduce to less than 1,500 sqft. However, I'll be happy if I have this 430 sqft apartment.

Perhaps we could have it disassembled and moved to the US.

I hear you brother. Good luck with everything and hang in there Marine, from a fellow Army soldier.

With regards to the house I agree. I have a small family, just three of us (wife and child). We used to live in a 3,200 sq feet home back in the states. Ever since moving to Nicaragua with downsized and we now live in a 1,200 sq ft home, and we love it. Easy to clean and maintain.
