    Fellows,

This is may be belated but I’ll throw in my Yen worth. I really will like to commend Wes for not being a hostage of group Conformity and for staying on the path of honor .I also find it interesting that just about all the members of the inner-caucus on this forum really wanted to drop the Virginia international University issue in a hurry (pretty unusual) like Wes I have zero tolerance for hypocrisy. People should simply practice what they preach. There are just too much of double standard tendencies around here.

The same people who were asking for apologies from one Emir Mohammed (or something like that) for teaching in an unaccredited School while criticizing such schools on AED now see nothing wrong in Richard Douglas teaching in an unaccredited University that uses fraudulent tactics to bait students for admission, while he (Rich) goes around town Selling anti unaccredited schools "aspirin” to people.

I think those who set up unaccredited Schools around the Globe, and those who make any kind of living in them are dishonorable profiteers. As far as I am concerned a state approved school who bait students for admission by fraudulently claiming accreditation
is worst than a diploma mill. And I make bold to say that those who profit in such arrangements are co-fraudsters.
Such people IMO have no moral justification to condemn others who do likewise.

Finally I like to appeal to the moderator to move this topic back to the main forum at least to enable us hear others opinion on this. GOOD JOB WES, YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE APOLOGETIC ABOUT IT.

    Peace,
Honorable Timmy Ade who will never teach in a University that lies about its Accreditation.

There is a HUGE difference between a school that is on a recognized accreditation track (VIU) and one that would never attain recognized accreditation (Robert Kennedy University, where Emir Mohammed is on the faculty list). It is impossible for a school to have recognized accreditation on the same day it opens, so the fact that VIU isn't accredited yet really isn't a surprise.

You've also conveniently left out some of Emir's other cute tricks, such as starting his own school (I forget the name, but it included one of the Founding Fathers like Jefferson...) which was immediately shut down when it was discovered and broadcast on a.e.d.

Comparing Emir Mohammed to Rich Douglas is, to borrow a phrase, like comparing apples to moon rocks.

Thank you for the baseless flame. How "a.e.d.-like."

The person Wes spoke with clearly mis-stated the difference between state licensure (which involves an approval process here in Virginia) and accreditation. I think it would be a good idea for everyone at the university to know everything about everything everytime whenever everyone calls, but that isn't going to happen, ever. Not in any business I've ever worked in (including the U.S. Air Force, Xerox, CCA, and AT&T).

VIU is a state-licensed, campus-based university in its pre-accredited phase. There is nothing wrong with that. Period.

VIU among many pre- and unaccredited, state-licensed, campus-based, degree-granting schools in the state of Virginia. Comparing them to RKU is weird.

Earning a degree from a school that is not yet accredited has its limitations. It's not for everyone. But to become accredited, a school needs students, a curriculum, and time operating with both. That's what I'm helping them do.

I've cautioned for years about the limited utility of degrees from unaccredited schools, and been disappointed in apologists who try to equate them to degrees from accredited schools. But that doesn't necessarily apply to any particular individual.

Interstingly, Timmy doesn't add any facts to the matter. He just wanted to flame me. Okay, Timmy, you've done that. Do you have anything else, or can we move on?
