I'm not talking about "peace on earth" or "end world hunger," I'm talking about STUFF! I'll start. I asked Santa for a new guitar. I'm talking about a hollowbody electric. I don't think Santa can spring for a Gibson but maybe an Ibanez or an Epiphone. (probably have to by it for myself . . . again)
Forget Santa, I just bought myself a Fender Jazz fretless bass. Of course, I'll need to sell one of my basses to pay the bill.
Cycling gear - I picked up new hobby in the second half of the year and have spent a lot of time on the bike in addition to my normal running. I would really like a new bike but that is going to have to wait a bit.
I asked Santa for a new messenger bag to help me get through my MFA studies. Does anyone recommend a good men's messenger bag? It should be able to fit 4-5 paperback books, notepads, and a 15" laptop.mfg:
Take a look at Chrome (chrome.com I think) They are actual messenger bags designed by and for actual messengers and they are absolutely bombproof. I've had one for about 3 years, use it daily, been around the world many times as my carry-on and daily work bag. You cannot and will not go wrong with their bags.
Peace on Earth! End World Hunger! Now for the STUFF: Here is a link to the number one item on my list: https://www.apple.com/macbook-air/design.html
MS Surface Pro 3 - a tablet with note taking capabilities to take hand written notes. I have an iPad and Adonis stylus, but I find it mediocre at best for taking notes.
I'm writing a letter to Santa asking him to top up my IRA contributions for the year 2014. I also promised him that I would be REALLY, REALLY good next year if he could increase the standard deduction and personal exemption.
