Way off topic! I need some help identifying a movie. I rented it in about 1992 and the movie may have been somewhat old then. Maybe from mid-late 80's or early 1990/1991. It was about a lawyer (maybe a DA) that fell in love with someone (I think a defendant) and killed someone. The part that I remember is that the lawyer took a file from a case that described how a murdered disposed of a body with acid and at the end the lawyer was pouring acid on a body in the tub. Can't remember who was in it. Now I looked at every movie on Wikipedia that was released from 1989-1992 but was either wrong about the year or just missed it. Anyone up to the challenge to help me end this obsession?
Have you tried looking at the Internet Movide Data Base? IMDB has listings for every year. Also look at the Rotten Tomatoes website. I know these websites offer more depth than Wikipedia.
