Yes, for people who actually know stuff about stuff, it would make more sense to attribute these fireworks to Orbital Sciences Corporation, a contractor of NASA. For the Maniac Craniacs of the world, it's NASA. :trink26:
I only said that because I'm an Elon Musk fan, so when I heard the news the first thing I did was make sure it wasn't a SpaceX rocket. It's also interesting to note Musk's opinion of the Antares rocket was already negative.
I agree with Musk that the US should not be using Russian rocket engines. But launch vehicles can fail in many different ways so lets see what the investigation turns up. Most manufacturers have had one or more of their rockets fail - that's why they buy insurance.
