    The perceived ignorance has little to do with homelessness.

    To sell an subject, one has to strum the weakest cord - emotion.

    Excellent job.

    (Their reaction could be attributed to inattentional blindness, cognitive tunneling, lack of conspicuousness and mental saliency or overload, disassociation, zoning out, etc.)

    Oh the government here (Singapore) solved the issue of homelessness.
    They tuck these people under bridges and send the rest to mental institutes.
