    An acquaintance of mine has a bumper sticker that says "Wilson-Smith University." I had no clue what this is (showing my naïveté, perhaps). So I asked him, and he said that this is a wry joke reflecting a slogan of Bill Wilson and Bob Smith, founders of Alcoholics Anonymous. Wilson-Smith University has "no graduates, only perpetual students."

    Sort of like Nova Southeastern. (Or so it was reputed to be in the 1980s; home of the ABD). :)
