Last week I couldn't even spell "accrediated" and now I are.

    The popular recent thread entitled
    Un-Accreditited List Updated
    causes me to wonder how many different ways this concept is spelled.

    I regularly get defiant letters from people saying, "How can you say my school isn't accrediated..." (or "accreditated").

    As for nouns, "accredation" is common, "accredition" and "accrediation" also appear. On one occasion, "accredititation.

    Well, certain spellings work for some people, while different spellings seem to meet other people's needs. If a particular un-accredited (or nonaccredimatated, as I like to say) spelling works for you, than go for it.;)
