Kiz Roast Thread

Well, I offered Maniac a roast thread at 5,000 posts. He countered with the suggestion of a roast thread upon the completion of his bachelor's. Now that he's accomplished both, he now has a roast thread.

Then, I offered Surf Doc a roast thread at 6,000 posts. He responded by making a post of a smiley shooting off an assault rifle. So, I guess he didn't want a roast thread.

Then, Kiz PMed me and suugested that I don't love her any more because I didn't offer her a roast thread when she has 7,000 posts. So, I hereby give Kiz her own roast thread. Yes, I still love you, Kiz.

 

On an earlier occasion when I asked about the possibility of doing a Kiz roast thread, she said that she would be afraid of what Doctor Douglas would say on her roast thread. The possibility of putting the Kiz roast thread in the Moderator Area was suggested.

 

To be honest, this is something that I have no strong feelings about in either direction. I'm not really worried about Rich. The roast threads have been pretty unspectacular with very little participation and, frankly, very little actual roasting. Whatever you decide is fine with me.

Here's a real roast. Dean Martin and company roast Frank Sinatra (featuring a very funny Ronald Reagan). Set aside 90 minutes and watch the whole thing.

In my opinion, it's kind of like the MC roast thread. It was funny, and we love MC, but it didn't go anywhere near as big as the Ted roast thread. I think it only works on members that have been here as long as you, Ted. The only interesting thing would be to see if RD participates in a Kiz roast, and what he said if he did. That might be worth the effort right there. Would he be nice? Would he be as nasty as ever? Hmmmm.
