The following quote got me to thinking:
    Do you trust people?

And for those of you who are upset that there aren't more than two choices, please be advised that this is a narrative question for you. ;)

I probably trust people to the point of getting myself in trouble, on occasion. However, my life has progressed very nicely and I enjoy it, despite the few disappointments. So I will keep trusting people - it causes less stress.

Now, that doesn't mean that some people don't deserve watching, after proving themselves to be untrustworthy. But even then, I tend to give chance after chance. Just my nature, I guess. (of course the Christian in me will point my finger to the nature of God working in me :) )

Generally, I don't trust people and have found them to be untrustworthy. Occasionally, trustworthy people can be found, but they are far and few inbetween.

Yes. Inherently. I tend to take people for what they say they are and do. Relating to this board, two major issues with this have come about. First, I got burned by MIGS for believing what people said they would do. I feel Armando Arias got similarly burned. I just did not expect to be lied to on such a scale. (Again, it did not help that I was so ready to believe what I heard. Shame on me.)

Second, as anyone who knows me knows, I've grown sick of anonymous posters who attack others on this and other boards. I guess anonymity is fine, as long as you leave out the personal stuff. Again, my trust in others finds me getting burned by some a-hole with a fake name. I end up in a dyad I simply want no part of. I've learned not to trust 'em (much) until I know 'em (a little).

I trust people to be untrustworthy, but I trust them anyway:)

I like to believe people are inherently good. I usually start out trusting them. However, I do follow the adage:

Fool me once- shame on you
Fool me twice- shame on me.

I have been known to be fooled a couple times, but I believe unless the situation was particularly heinous, one should try to turn the other cheek.......

    I love you... but I don't trust you !

I've posted this poll at several forums and this forum has the most "distrusting people."
