Hi, everyone! I'm glad I found this forum because I need some help.

My situation is this: I want to become a lawyer, but I don't have a degree and I don't want to study for one. I hate learning, to be honest. Also, I spend a lot of money on Nutter Butters and beer, which makes financing the degree very difficult.

I need to find a bar-approved JD that does not require a high school diploma or GED (long story), has no attendance requirement (I'm too busy), no exams (I can't stay awake for them), no writing assignments, and where tuition payment is voluntary (you know, Nutter Butters and all...). I want a good job, so it needs to be a top 10 school AND I need to be able to finish before the November deadline my parents gave me for moving out of the house.

I searched Google but couldn't find anything, so any help you can give me would be great. Oh, and can you let me know if any state will waive the bar exam if you say "pretty please?"

    Thanks! :wavey:

If only the Universal Life Church gave out law degrees...

The University of Kizmet is just what you need. Send me all your money and I'll take care of everything.

You mean they don't? Which distance learning school offers a JD that prepares you to take the Bar before the Universal Bar Association?

From what I've heard, Ted -- there's no such school. Just one Supreme Judge, who takes care of everything. And if I'm permitted a lawyer joke here, it's rumored they are sometimes frowned upon, by this revered Association. :jester: I wouldn't know, myself.

Hey! I just got an email from BUST University. They say I can a get bar approved JD based on my life experience of watching The Practice when I was in middle school. This is good news, indeed, but there is something about the school that makes me really nervous. They claim to be galactically accredited. Wouldn't that make me stand out as overqualified in a field full of people who attended schools that only have regional accreditation?

    Maybe Dr. Bear knows.

I knew a guy who had a neighbor that wanted to go to law school and said everyone with regional accreditation sucks. My vote is for galactically accredited. I hear they don't accept financial aid, but Capital One has double miles, so I think the smart thing to do is just put it on your visa and then use the points you earn back to pay for books. #smart.
