Do any of you use Google Drive? I am trying to decide if it's a good way to store some documents that I want to share from time to time. Does anyone use it? Experiences?

I've occasionally used it to share large non-sensitive documents with others, but not much otherwise.

I use it more as a backup for stuff or to share it with myself on other devices.

I've been using dropbox. More expensive than Google Drive, but easier to share folders with other people, and to provide link for large files. However, I wouldn't trust online storage for any sensitive documents.

If you send something on the Internet in any way, and it's not encrypted by you and decrypted by the recipient, then the NSA has stored it and is at least doing automated scanning on it.

I'm using it almost exclusively for my WGU MBA. Simple interface on the wordprocessor, cool that you can give others access to documents. I like it a lot. That said, I wouldn't put personal docs or anything up there....its a little too open for that IMO.

I use Google Drive (shared with wife), SkyDrive (online adjunct materials), and Dropbox (shared with students)

ok, thanks everyone. Last semester an instructor had us all upload our power points to Google Drive because our school's platform didn't support power points in the forum. So, I created an account for that assignment. I've got a few simple docs that I like to share (not sensitive at all) and since I don't have a web page, I thought this would be a good way to handle it. It's free, but I didn't find it all that intuitive, at least in the few minutes I used it. Looks like I'll give it a try. Thanks!
