I hope those on these forums who were so quick to judge Zimmerman guilty before knowing all the facts have learned your lesson about jumping to conclusions.

I also hope all those who listen or watch the main stream news media have also learned to verify the facts for yourself in the future. Just think how the news media played you. Fake audio recordings, fake news reports, calling Zimmerman a "white" hispanic, pictures of Martin when he was 13 and not showing older pictures, not showing Zimmerman's injuries, not reporting Martin's school troubles, not reporting Martin's social media rhetoric and the list goes on.

We can all agree this was a tragic event.

Jury got it right. That's all that matters.

Actually, I see it as the State of Florida (prosecution) failed to prove their case! The jury is simply doing their duty!

The prosecution had no case from the start. Regrettably a political pressure prosecution /trial (e.g., mixing politics /justice); no grand jury (?))…

Though a tragic event ... not all tragedy is a crime…

And clearly the prosecution made a strategic error in its overcharge.

Yes. Now GZ can go and live with himself. I wish him well.

Typically not difficult to live with yourself when you did nothing wrong. Odd how some people are so offended by a man defending himself from assault.

Please continue the conversation here...no real need to have two open/active threads on the same current events topic.
