In what appears to be an elephant-on-the-board situation, nobody has posted a thread yet about the one thing that is on everybody's mind. Nothing as big as this bombing has happened on US soil since 9/11. Given the apparent ease with which the perpetrators carried it out, it is a reminder of certain unsavory realities that mar the collective character of the human race. It's also a humbling reminder that we are blessed to live in an area of the world where this actually happens quite rarely. I'm saddened for the victims yet somewhat relieved that the event was not much, much worse as it could have easily been. Let's hope that no more of the victims die from their injuries and that survivors will grow strong and move on to live amazing lives.

I'm both amused and impressed at the diligence of people on twitter and reddit who have taken the case on for themselves. Amused because they have identified everyone, their mother and their uncle's monkey as suspects in the case. Impressed because one of them apparently actually made a useful addition to the case in figuring out what model of baseball cap one of the FBI's suspects is wearing.

Here is a link to the FBI's page on the incident, including the photo and video evidence they have released to the public: FBI — Updates on Investigation Into Multiple Explosions in Boston

By the way, in case you are late to the game, Alex Jones has already figured the whole thing out. It's a false flag operation! :dot:

Oh, but I have to tell you that Alex Jones isn't the only one with egg on his face. The media can't seem to get it right, as all of their anonymous sources keep giving them information that is then later debunked. Then it seems that once one news organization publishes false information, the others panic that someone else may have gotten a scoop, so the rest of them follow suit and report the same falsehoods. It's maddening.

Then there's THIS garbage New York Post's Boston 'Bag Men' Front Page Called 'A New Low,' 'Appalling' (PHOTO). At this point, anyone who reads either The Daily News or The New York Post for anything other than entertainment purposes only deserve to be misinformed.
