Article in Chronicle: Jordan Says It Will Encourage Distance Programs in Public and Private Universities. Mentions programs to be operated by Jordan University and by Arab Open University. Arab Open U. is projected to have "70,000 students within 10 years and 200,000 at maximum capacity." Of these, they hope to have 3,000 to 5,000 at the Jordanian branch.
