    Hi All,

I survived the graduate interview today at The University of Denver. It lasted from 8:30-5:00 but was very enjoyable and informative. Even took a sample class I really enjoyed.

There were 4 faculty I interacted with today and who knew me by name by the time I left at 5:00. Do I email them a short follow-up email? Sort of like you would after a job interview?

    Thanks!

It it was nice getting to know them, then I don't see why you couldn't tell them so.

Congrats on a good interview. A thank you is almost always appropriate. Try to make it non-generic and as you said, keep it short.

"Thank you for meeting with me. I found your research on ------ very interesting. I hope there is a place for me in the fall program."

    Something along those lines.

Perfect. Thanks! Just finished sending out the emails. Kept them short, sweet, and to the point. Already got one response! Now the waiting game begins for admission status. They estimated by the end of March.
