Not specifically related to DL, except the 100 mile distance I traveled to hear Dr. Moltmann speak today. ;)

Perhaps the most prominent Reformed theologian of the past 50 years, Jurgen Moltmann (Univ. of Tubingen, Germany) presented the Margaret Steelman Lecture Series at Wake Forest University's Divinity School this week. His lecture today was titled Is There Life After Death?

    Excellent 1 1/2 hour lecture!

I would love to hear Dr. Moltmann. I have read several of his books (dealing with eschatology and the Trinity). He is definitely deep! His material is not for light reading :) .

I have really appreciated his discussion about the Eastern Christian view of the Trinity. That the Trinity exists more in community than in a heirarchy.

Pretty thought provoking. I'm glad you got to hear him.

Dr. Moltmann was short in stature, probably about 5' 2'', but definitely thought provoking. He spoke English, with a strong German accent.

His book The Church in the Power of the Spirit is excellent, as they all are.

Well, Clint, today is your lucky day! The following link will take you to a series of lectures given by Dr. Moltmann at Nazarene Theological Seminary in the Fall of 2001:
